Hackers: We can now steal data via electrical outlet

Earlier, it was unbelievable, but today it’s possible to steal data through electrical power outlets connected to the computer. At the Black Hat USA conference, hackers presented their ways of extracting data from computer. Actually, every key of the keyboard generates different unique electrical signals, so by detecting that particular signal through a outlet is their main tactic. The attacker is also able to collect information even from computers with wireless keyboards or notebooks running on battery by a laser beam, which recognizes unique vibration of each typed key. However, don’t worry too much. Just watch out, the weak point of these methods is that computers under attack should be in direct view of hackers. Consequently, by knowing and preventing these hacker methods, people can reduce the risk of losing their private information. To read the whole article please click here.
