In today’s world it’s almost impossible to survive without a job and getting a job is also not one of the easiest processes. First, develop your qualifications. For instance, volunteering is one of the fastest and easiest strategies to obtain and improve your qualifications in a field you are interested in. If you are still not sure how to start then call to any volunteering center close to your home and ask for their help. It is essential that you find out available jobs related to your qualifications in your area of living. Second, get a Social Insurance Number (Social Insurance Card). Naadam vs Canada Day

On the earth every country has their “birth day”, but every nation observes that day in their own way. Mongolians and Canadians also celebrate their National Holiday differently. First, Naadam, the Mongolian National festival, occurs from July 11th to 13th of every year, and commemorates the 1921 revolution that brought freedom to Mongolia. However, Canada Day is day when Canada “born” as result of uniting of the British colonies into a federation of provinces and becoming independent territory of England on 1st of July, 1867. Furthermore, Mongolians have been celebrating Naadam festival for centuries. The festival name means "the three games of men" and includes Mongolian wrestling, horse racing and archery. At the present days it is formally organized and female have started performing in the archery and girls in the horse-racing, except wrestling. On the other hand, there is no official way to celebrate Canada Day and every province celebrates uniquely. Finally, like hockey for Canadians, sumo for Japanese, wrestling for Mongolians is most popular.

Light emitting plants

The nature, surrounding us, is full of wonders and secrets. Please click here to view the whole article about one of ideas in biotechnological possibilities to fight with global warming. For instance, make trees to generate light by transplanting into them the firefly’s gene, responsible for light emitting. That magic gene name is luciferase. Therefore, if scientists will succeed in their experiment there will be a lot of benefits. First, these plants will emit light without conventionally generated electricity, so it will result in decrease of pollution. Second, as nature plants these ones will absorb carbon dioxide to glow the light, instead releasing into air. Third, plants with many variations of form and color will boost the surroundings. Fourth, it is profitable as plants don’t need maintenance. Fifth, non-renewal energy will not be used, because metals not required. Sixth, the illumination of these plants can be controlled by controlling the genes. Overall, human and nature combination will be much energy efficient than only human made products.

Give the Mosquitoes the Smack Down (the video interview)

Michael Raupp, a professor of entomology (study of insects) at University of Maryland, gave advice on preventing or resisting the mosquito attack in the video with a link at the end of this blog.

Here some most interesting and good working natural bite blockers: lemon eucalyptus, tomato, and soy bean oil. Look for products containing these ones on their labels and many more mentioned in the video interview. Keep in mind that common remedies like garlic don’t help much.

He says drain or change the containers twice a week with water to get rid of mosquitoes. If there’s stationary water like a pool, then place a Mosquito Dunks into that swimming pool. There’re environmentally safe and won’t harm people swimming in it, but mosquitoes will be destroyed.

Furthermore, another interesting advice is in case of a mosquito bite first put some ice and then use against bite products for better results.

Just FYI: because each person releases their unique blend of body chemicals some of them attract more mosquitoes then others; also, it is interesting that only the female mosquitoes bite!

If you are interested in this advice please click here to watch the whole interview for more details, and good luck!

Hackers: We can now steal data via electrical outlet

Earlier, it was unbelievable, but today it’s possible to steal data through electrical power outlets connected to the computer. At the Black Hat USA conference, hackers presented their ways of extracting data from computer. Actually, every key of the keyboard generates different unique electrical signals, so by detecting that particular signal through a outlet is their main tactic. The attacker is also able to collect information even from computers with wireless keyboards or notebooks running on battery by a laser beam, which recognizes unique vibration of each typed key. However, don’t worry too much. Just watch out, the weak point of these methods is that computers under attack should be in direct view of hackers. Consequently, by knowing and preventing these hacker methods, people can reduce the risk of losing their private information. To read the whole article please click here.

Taking human error out of the driving equation

Are you a good driver? If not sure this might interest you. To view the whole article please click here. As humans do errors even well experienced drivers aren’t protected from accidents on the road, so Human-Machine interaction systems, such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), are next on car safety. This system reduces car speed by reading road signs and checking out traffic in front. Also, it will help the driver cross traffic from blind parking spaces and has many more features.

The new Ford Taurus is equipped with ADAS. Also, in German a Mercedes already recognizes the European uniform road signs.

The US government is experimenting with between cars communication, which transmits to another car information about danger in front.

I like driving and also reading articles like this about technology, which makes life enjoyable. It’s for sure that much safer to use technology on car safety than teach humans make less errors in critical situations. Chances of being in accidents are much higher while driving still not awaken in the morning or tired on way back home, so in these and many other dangerous situations technology (they don’t sleep or tire) is coming to help. Enjoy driving, everyone!
